Located within a UNESCO World Heritage Site and designated as a national treasure of Barbados, the Island Inn Hotel is a pretty special place to stay. Found within the Garrison Historic Area, just outside of the capital Bridgetown, the Island Inn hotel is a beautiful historic building dating back to 1804. Formerly a storage facility for the British Regiment’s rum supplies, the Island Inn hotel is now a three-star boutique hotel where old world charm and modern convenience combine to perfection. Although not directly on the beach front, the hotel is just a two-minute walk from the beautiful Carlisle Bay Beach whilst the beautiful swimming pool with its cascading fountain will cool you down from all that Caribbean sunshine. Dining is superb at the Island Inn, with afternoon tea served daily and a blend of international and local cuisines on offer at The Boardwalk Restaurant. Catch up with the latest sports on the large TV’s in the glass enclosed lounge or catch up with your emails with the free Wi-Fi in the reception area.

 Found in the historic part of the hotel, these guest rooms are accessed by a wooden corridor and feature exposed brick walls. Views are of the eastern gardens. Maximum occupancy 2 adults.  

Superior Garden Rooms

 Based in both the historic part of the hotel and in the new block, these large guest rooms overlook the pretty hotel gardens. Maximum occupancy 2 adults.  

Superior Poolside Rooms

 Situated in the newer part of the hotel, these spacious guest rooms offer direct access to the swimming pool. Maximum occupancy 3 adults.    

Junior Suite

 Housed in the newer part of the hotel, Junior Suites offer extra space for families with a separate living room and large patio overlooking the pool. Maximum occupancy 4 adults.

We did not realise that we would have to pay for our seats seperately from the original fare that we paid for to go on our holiday . We were disappointed that this was not pointed out to us at the time of booking the flights through SN Travel . Thats the only negative. I would use SN Travel again but I would look out for the hidden extra's in the price I pay to travel.
