About Admirals Inn

Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site that is Nelson’s Dockyard in English Harbour, Admirals Inn is an historic boutique hotel in Antigua. The perfect option for those who would like to enjoy an authentic taste of Antigua and for visitors keen on the island’s history, Admirals Inn consists of 23 rooms and suites overlooking either the harbour, hillside or gardens. The entire hotel was upgraded and refurbished in 2013 to ensure the highest of standards are offered, however none of its historic charm has been lost, with many of the original features being carefully restored, including the main building which dates all the way back to 1788. Relax beside the beautiful infinity edge swimming pool overlooking Nelson’s Dockyard, enjoy pampering sessions at the Spa, lie back in a hammock under the Antiguan sunshine or pop into the brand-new poolside bar and restaurant Boom and enjoy cocktails and a spot of lunch. When the sun sets, indulge in the delicious cuisine in offer at Pillars Restaurant, accompanied of course by a glass or two of fine wine. Accommodations at Admirals Inn offer stunning original features and beautiful furnishings in keeping with the historic nature of the hotel. Stay in one of the Deluxe Gunpowder Suites located close to the swimming pool and restaurant. Accessible by a complimentary boat shuttle, this section of the hotel sits across the water from the main building.

 Housed in the beautifully historic main building, these guest rooms can be found on the first floor and offer pretty views over the hillside. Choose from a king size bed or two twin beds. Each guest room offers a private bathroom with shower.

Superior Rooms with Garden, Patio or Dockyard View

 Found within the 18th century annex building, these splendid guest rooms offer large patios with daybeds and open out into the pretty gardens. One of the guest rooms is found in the Joiner’s Loft and offers a traditional wooden décor and vistas over the dockyard. Rooms come with a private bathroom with shower and a choice of king size or two twin beds.

 Found on the first floor of the main building, enjoy stunning vistas over the harbour. Choose from a king size or two twin beds and enjoy a private bathroom with shower.

Deluxe Loft Suite with Harbour View

 Offering beautiful wooden décor and parquet flooring, this traditionally styled room offers a spacious sitting area with pull out queen size sofa bed. The large private bathroom offers a shower whilst the views from the patio over Nelson’s Dockyard are breath-taking. Guests enjoy use of a fully equipped kitchenette.  

Deluxe Gunpowder Suite

 Located on the headland, a complimentary boat shuttle across the 100 yard stretch of water from the main building, these luxury suites have been beautifully restored and feature some lovely original features. Soak up the views over Nelson’s Dockyard or take a dip in the infinity pool close by. Extras include an i-Pod dock, flat screen TV, living area and bathrobes.

We did not realise that we would have to pay for our seats seperately from the original fare that we paid for to go on our holiday . We were disappointed that this was not pointed out to us at the time of booking the flights through SN Travel . Thats the only negative. I would use SN Travel again but I would look out for the hidden extra's in the price I pay to travel.
