Following a huge refurbishment, Waves Hotel & Spa by Elegant Hotels has been transformed into a chic eco hotel where fitness and wellness are the order of the day. Located along the famous Platinum Coast of Western Barbados, this delightful destination offers the perfect holiday experience for those who truly want to disconnect from daily life. Just a half hour drive from the airport and only fifteen minutes from the capital Bridgetown, Waves Hotel boasts an enviable location on the shores of the beautiful Prospect Bay. Surrounded by lush scenery with the white sugary sands of Prospect Bay set before it, Waves Hotel offers the perfect setting whilst an abundance of activities manages to keep guests happy at all times. Choose from a variety of options which include art classes, cooking demonstrations, guided beach walks and fitness classes such as Pilates and yoga. The state of the art fitness centre is excellent whilst water sports in plentiful down at the beach. There is a wonderful Spa offering variety of treatments including plenty of couple only offerings whilst families can enjoy a wealth of activities together including beach cricket, family fitness and swimming pool fun. As for dining, Asian fusion, buffet and Mediterranean cuisine all tantalise the taste buds whilst Kyma, the new coffee bar serves up lattes and the like.

Pool View Spa Guest Rooms

 Get a great night’s sleep on the king size bed whilst the sofa bed offers extra sleeping space. The private balcony overlooks the pool at this adult only part of the complex. Guests of this room receive two complimentary spa treatments (subject to minimum stay).  

Pool View Spa One Bedroom Suite

 Also housed in the adults only area of Waves Hotel, this spacious suite offers a king size bedroom with separate living room and a large balcony overlooking the pool. Two complimentary spa treatments are included for each adults staying in this guest suite (subject to minimum stay).  

Duplex Suite (Island View)

 Spread over two floors, this stylish guest suite features a bedroom and living room as well as a private top floor balcony overlooking the island. There is a wet bar on the upper floor where the lounge can be found whilst the bedroom is located on the first floor. Adults receive one free Spa treatment per stay.  

Standard

 Located on the Oceanside building, these newly renovated guest rooms are beautiful and feature every modern amenity. These guest rooms do not have a balcony.  

Ocean View Room

 With the king size bed set out to enjoy amazing views over the ocean, these guest rooms are pretty special. Housed on the Oceanside building, guests of these stunning rooms receive three Spa treatments per stay (minimum stay required).  

Ocean Front Junior Suite

 Huge accommodations, these gorgeous guest suites offer spacious balconies overlooking the ocean and the beach, a stocked mini bar in the large lounge area and a sizeable bedroom with private bathroom. Guests of this suite receive four Spa treatments per stay (minimum stay required).  

Ocean Front Duplex Suite

 A lavish guest suite at Waves Hotel, these split level penthouse accommodations include a king size bedroom, large living room with sofa bed, wet bar and spectacular balcony overlooking the ocean. Guests receive four Spa treatments per stay (subject to minimum stay).

We did not realise that we would have to pay for our seats seperately from the original fare that we paid for to go on our holiday . We were disappointed that this was not pointed out to us at the time of booking the flights through SN Travel . Thats the only negative. I would use SN Travel again but I would look out for the hidden extra's in the price I pay to travel.
