Surrounded by 20 stunning acres of tropical gardens, Almond Beach is a popular and very family friendly 4-star hotel resort found along the prestigious Platinum Coast of Barbados. Located on the western side of the island close to Speightstown, Almond Beach sits opposite over half a mile of perfect white sands lapped with tranquil turquoise waters. The hotel offers an extensive choice of facilities, keeping every member of the family entertained at all times. There are 6 swimming pools to cool off in including one adult only pool, a family pool and a children’s pool; age appropriate kid’s clubs and a wealth of sports on offer ranging from tennis, squash, basketball and volleyball to cricket, football, table tennis and golf. The shallow reef pools at the beach offer superb conditions for snorkelling whilst guests can enjoy a power boat trip to see the turtles and a reef fishing trip on a glass bottomed boat. The Spa at the nearby Sugar Cane Club Resort can also be used by guests of Almond Beach for those who wish to indulge. As for dining, The Reef Restaurant and Bar offers beach front dining whilst Bajan cuisine is showcased at Enid’s. Horizon’s themed buffets are always popular and Tommy’s Bar is the place to go for a traditional Bajan rum cocktail.

We did not realise that we would have to pay for our seats seperately from the original fare that we paid for to go on our holiday . We were disappointed that this was not pointed out to us at the time of booking the flights through SN Travel . Thats the only negative. I would use SN Travel again but I would look out for the hidden extra's in the price I pay to travel.
