Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has been a regular fixture on the Formula One circuit since 2009. The inaugural race made history as it was the first time a Formula One race had taken place at night-time. Floodlights were used to illuminate the track and this is just one of the many features of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix that make it such a special sporting event to attend.
When & Where
The 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will take place on the 6th December, with qualifying and practice sessions to be confirmed later this year. As has always been the case at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the race will be contested on the 5.554-kilometre Yas Marina Circuit, located on Yas Island. Many of the grandstands have views over multiple corners, so you will not be disappointed wherever you are located around the circuit. For those who like to watch overtakes, the South Grandstand and West Grandstand are the best options.

The Parties & Concerts
Musical concepts play a big role in the Formula One weekend at Abu Dhabi and in 2024 you can enjoy sets from stars playing at the Yas Marina Circuit. In addition to the concerts, there will be several parties and other musical events taking place over the course of the weekend in Abu Dhabi. The Fanzone, North Oasis, West Oasis and South Oasis are the four entertainment locations commonly used when Formula One arrives. Here you will find plenty of entertainment and a party atmosphere.
Getting There
Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates and it takes just 30 minutes to reach the Yas Marina Circuit from the city centre. There is a free park and ride shuttle service for those coming from Abu Dhabi Plus taxis and regular service buses. While the race itself is the main highlight of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, this is such a special occasion for the city that there are many other events taking place throughout the weekend.
